Alexandra van Viegen

Alexandra van Viegen is the founder of Onboardly, a B2B SaaS platform reimagining customer onboarding for modern teams. Originally from Maryland, USA, Alex now lives in the Netherlands with her husband and three children. She’s a technical founder, a former corporate strategist, and a proud builder navigating entrepreneurship while raising a young family abroad.

As a Black woman in tech with dual American and Dutch citizenship, Alex brings a unique global perspective to everything she builds—especially when it comes to equity, inclusion, and designing tech that meets people where they are. With Onboardly, she’s on a mission to shorten time-to-value for complex products and bring more human clarity into the customer experience.

When she’s not writing code or chasing a toddler, Alex volunteers as a speaker liaison for TEDxAmsterdam and is building a cross-functional community for CS, product, and growth leaders who want to fix the messy middle of customer retention.
